Party and Playdate Rental
Terms and Conditions
 

Ensuring the safety of babies and young children is a top priority at Robbeburg. These terms and conditions are in place to ensure the safety and well-being of all visitors, especially the young children attending Robbeburg. It's important to adhere to these terms and agreements to maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for everyone.

Attendees

  • Parties: Maximum of 50 people in total, including both adults and children.

  • Playdates: Maximum of 3 households with     an unlimited number of kids under 13 years old who belong to the households.

Personal Use

  • The renter is hiring Robbeburg for their own personal use and it is strictly forbidden to resell the slot or sublet the space.

  • The renter is responsible for ensuring that the rented space is used only for personal use and not for any commercial or resale purposes.

Time

  • 4-hour rental period for parties and 2 hours for playdates, which includes set-up and clean-up. Please note that you must enter and leave at your scheduled time, not earlier or later.

  • Depending on availability for parties, it is possible to extend the rental for €25 per hour. Please contact us at info@robbeburg.nl to make this arrangement. If you stay on the premises longer without informing Robbeburg in advance, you may be charged the €25 hourly rate and risk losing the security deposit.

Care

  • Food items brought to Robbeburg must not contain nuts or cocktail/toothpicks as we consider these a safety hazard for children. Smoking and e-cigarettes are strictly forbidden within the premises of Robbeburg. 

  • Only one baby at a time should be in the   crib. A toddler or a kid should never be in     the crib.

  • Pets/animals are not allowed at Robbeburg. 

  • Adult renters and attendees are allowed to consume alcohol, but it is important to act responsibly and respectfully while doing so. 

  • Only foil balloons are allowed at Robbeburg. Latex balloons are not allowed due to the choking hazard associated with popped  latex balloons.

  • Renters are only allowed to use the inside play space of the three adjoining rooms, hall, and toilets.  Renters are allowed to use toys, books, art/craft supplies, and kitchen items. All items are to stay at Robbeburg.  The garden area is not accessible for parties and playdates. 

  • Before leaving, switch off all kitchen appliances and empty any remaining contents from coffee-related appliances such as the kettle, filter coffee machine,  and capsule machine. Also, turn off all three lights in the playroom and the last light in the entrance hall.

  • If heating is needed, to turn on the heating, lift the grate from the top of the wooden boxes on the left of the radiator and turn the radiator knob. However, remember to turn off the heating radiators before leaving to avoid forfeiting your deposit.

Cleaning

  • Shoes are not allowed in the kitchen or play areas. Adults and children are required to remove their shoes at the entrance.

  • Food and drinks are only allowed in the kitchen and table area. No food or drinks are permitted in the two rooms with the toys.

  • Decorations should be hung using Washi tape/painter's tape to avoid damaging or leaving marks on the walls.

  • The entire facility must be cleaned and tidy before leaving and at the end of the rental period. This includes vacuuming all rooms, sanitizing bathrooms, and disinfecting surfaces. Robbeburg encourages renters to disinfect upon entering. Cleaning products are available in the kitchen. 

  • The vacuum is in the closet of the last playroom. 

  • All decorations, food, and garbage must be removed at the end of the rental period. Renters are responsible for emptying the garbage in all bathrooms, the diaper changing area, and the kitchen. There are Gementee garbage cans near the playground on Jekerstraat just outside Robbeburg. Leaving any unconsumed food, beverage or garbage behind will result in an automatic forfeiture of your deposit.

  • Toys and art/craft supplies must be put away, and only balls are allowed to be left in the ball pit.

  • All Robbeburg cutlery and kitchen supplies must be washed and put away.

  • Additional cleaning expenses will be charged to the renter or deducted from the security deposit if Robbeburg is deemed to have been left uncleaned.

Security

It is important for the renter to ensure the

safety and security of Robbeburg by following

the provided directions for proper locking and securing of the premises upon departure. 

This includes:

  • Checking that all doors are closed and shut firmly.

  • Returning all keys to their designated safety places, such as the lockbox, and ensuring that the lockbox is closed and the code numbers are spun and the black panel is slid up. Keys lost or misplaced in different locations could forfeit the deposit. 

  • Closing and locking the play area door and returning the key to the lockbox.

  • Closing and locking the white corridor door by pressing the lock button on the handle until a red light appears.

  • Closing the main green outside door, but not locking it with the key. This door automatically locks when closed. Ensure the black rubber piece is not in the way so the door latches.  In order to be refunded the deposit, do NOT lock the green door with the key. 

  • Not sharing the entry codes with anyone and not providing access to the facilities to people outside of their party/playdate.

Loss, Damage, and Injury

  • Robbeburg is not responsible for any loss or damage of personal property, nor liable for any personal injury to the renter or their attendees.

  • To receive a deposit refund, Robbeburg mandates that pictures and/or videos of the rented space must be sent to info@robbeburg.nl after the rental period ends. This serves as evidence that the terms and conditions have been met. The deposit will be refunded within 7 working days of your event once we receive your pictures and conduct an inspection.

  • It is recommended that renters take pictures or videos of the space at the beginning of the rental period. This will help in identifying and addressing any concerns or damages, and ensure a smooth refund process for the deposit. 

  • It is the renter's responsibility to promptly communicate any issues or damages to Robbeburg to avoid being held responsible.

Changes and Cancellations

  • Party and playdate cancellations are nonrefundable and must be made 48 hours before the start of the booking. To cancel email info@robbeburg.nl. Cancellations made 48 hours before the start of the booking will be replaced with a voucher to be used within three months of the event booking. 

  • Playgroup cancellations are nonrefundable and must be made by 8:00 am on the same day. You can attend another session within two weeks of the original booking if you cancel before 8:00 am. Late cancellation for monthly members will result in a one-day reduction of the pass, while flex members will lose a session. Follow the policy to avoid losing classes.
