The Robbeburg can be rented on weekends for parties. It’s a friendly and inviting space, with lots to keep the kids (0-4) amused!
Robbeburg can hold up to 50 people and has all basic facilities; fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities.
You don’t need to be a Robbeburg member to book a party, all are welcome!

It is also possible to book an evening time slot (18:30 – 22:30) – this could e.g. be added on to an afternoon time slot to extend your afternoon party. Also we allow afternoon bookings. Please contact us via the chat or the contact form for any questions
How much does it cost to rent the Robbeburg?
Hiring The Robbeburg for a party (4 hours) costs €100 effective 1 January 2019. An additional €50 refundable deposit is required. We require both payment and deposit to be paid in full in order to secure the booking. We work on a first come first served basis.
Can I extend the hours of hire?
The Robbeburg is available to rent for specified time slots. You can choose to book one slot, or two adjacent slots depending on the amount of time you would like to make use of the space. Unfortunatly there is no discount for booking more than one time slot and the hours of hire are non-negotiable. Please use the book online tab or facility rental to proceed with booking.
Is there a discount for party sessions?
No, there is no discount for part sessions. The minimum hire is one time slot (4 hours).
How many people can the Robbeburg hold?
Following the current (28 Sept 2020 Press Conference) RIVM restrictions, for health and safety reasons Robbeburg can hold up to 30 people (Children included) max in the overall headcount.
** PLEASE NOTE** Covid-19 restrictions- During this time Robbeburg has had to limit the number of adults within the facility. In order to safely maintain 1.5M distance between adults, the headcount is capped at 20 adults (including the hosts). Children do not need to distance therefore are only included in the 30 MAX headcount.
How do I know if my booking has been confirmed?
Once your full payment has been received by us you will receive an email confirming your booking. If you have any doubts about whether or not you have a confirmed booking please contact email@example.com or use the contact form
Can I cancel or alter my booking?
Bookings can not be cancelled, but you may move the date to the next available time slot up to 1 month before or after the date of your booking. Your deposit will not be refunded should you decide to cancel.
What facilities are available?
There is a mini refrigerator, microwave, tea kettle and coffee pot for you to use. Our kitchen has a tall wide worktop for both preparation and serving.
There is a ball pit and a small structure with stairs, a slide and a hideout suitable for children up to 4 years.
Wi-fi is not (yet) available
What CAN’T I do at the Robbeburg?
Hire of the Robbeburg does not include use of craft supplies or tea, coffee, juice etc. belonging to the Robbeburg. You must also adhere to the following rules:
No shoes inside the Robbeburg (please leave these in the corridor or use the plastic shoe covers)
No balloons. Please note that this includes any used by child entertainers. Popped balloons pose a choking risk for crawling babies who attend our weekday playgroups
No cello or masking tape on the walls-WASHI TAPE ONLY (available @ HEMA & FLYING TIGER)
No wipes to be flushed down the toilets. This has caused blockages and serious plumbing issues for us.
No nuts or or nut products. Due to the increase in severe allergic reactions nuts may no longer be served at parties. Rouge almonds were found in the ball pit & peanut butter residue on the table tops, as both pose a life threatening situation for children with allergies we can no longer have nuts on the premises.
